Hi Scarborough Cyclists!
We have great news to report.
Our proposal to Game On Toronto was selected for funding!
If you recall, back in October, Ward 36 Cyclists teamed up with TO35Cycles and submitted a proposal for a Toronto East Bike Festival to be held in 2015.
The main goal of the event is to expand on the overall success of the Scarborough Southwest Bike Rodeo, promote safe cycling practices, and to expand cycling outside of the downtown core.
Out of 80 applications, 16 were successful and we were one of them!
So our next step will be to immediately begin planning for the event at our upcoming January 2015 meeting.
Make sure to sign up on our email list (to the right of this page) if you want to stay informed or volunteer for the event. We would love to get more people from across Toronto involved!
